Wall construction
Walls are the vertical structural elements of a building, either solid or with openings.
The categories of wall construction are:
- Running bond, which can be 9 to 12 cm thick and is used for the construction of internal partitions.
- Header bond, where the wall has a thickness equal to the length of the brick and can be used for both external and internal walls.
